How it works

  1. 01

    Find an open card.

Each shared card covers one area. Type your ZIP to see the card that covers it and whether the spot for your trade is still free.

  2. 02

    Claim your trade's spot.

Nothing is charged yet. We design your ad free, and you can ask for changes.

  3. 03

It mails when the card fills.

Once 9 of 12 spots are taken, we print the card and hand it to USPS. The QR code on your ad tracks the scans.

What a shared mailer is

A shared mailer is one postcard that several local businesses split. Each business buys a spot on it. We print the card once and USPS takes it to every home on the carrier routes it covers. The businesses share the printing and postage bill, so a spot costs a fraction of mailing a card alone.

It also goes by co-op mailer, shared postcard and shared direct mail. Some co-op mailers are envelopes full of coupons. Ours is one postcard, 11.00 by 8.50 inches, with every ad printed on it, so there is nothing to fall out.

Each trade gets one spot per card. A plumber, a dentist and a realtor can share a card. Two plumbers can't.

  • A shared mailer

The cheaper way in. You get one spot, 12 businesses share the card, and it mails once 9 of 12 spots are taken. You pay nothing until then.

  • Your own postcard

The whole front is yours and no one else is on the card. It doesn't wait for other businesses: it mails within 3 weeks. See your own postcard.

What a spot costs

Each card mails to about 5,000 homes. Printing, postage and scan tracking are in the price.

A shared card mails once 9 of 12 slots are taken. Until the zone reaches that, nothing is charged. If it never gets there you choose a rollover to the next drop, store credit, or a full refund.

It does the same job. We design your ad, print the postcard and hand it to USPS for the carrier routes in your area, so you don't need a mailing list or a trip to the post office. If you want the whole card to yourself, mail your own postcard instead. It mails within 3 weeks.

One postcard carries 12 advertisers, 4 on the front and 8 on the address side, one business per category. Your trade is locked on that card, so a competitor can't buy a spot on it.

You choose. A front spot is 5.28 by 2.97 inches, on the face with nothing else on it. A back spot is 2.48 by 3.10 inches, on the address side next to the delivery address and postage, and it costs less.

Then mail a card of your own there. It doesn't wait for other businesses, so it mails within 3 weeks.
